Fruits and Vegetables

The core of a plant-based diet, fruits and vegetables are available in a wonderful array of colors, textures, and tastes, and provide a variety of seasonal treats throughout the year.  Both are full of vitamins, minerals, antioxidants, and fiber.  Most are very low in calories  and can be eaten and prepared many different ways.  They should be the mainstay of our dinner plates and snacks based on their nutritional value.
